A warm welcome to you all; we hope you enjoy reading this newsletter and find it informative, as well as entertaining. We also take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year.
First of all, apologies to anyone who has sent us a email and not received a reply - please resend and you will definitely have a reply. The reason is that we lost all of our data because a computer virus wiped out 75% of our programs and messages, etc. This virus hit our system before Norton had protection in place - 18 months work wiped out and the back-ups were also infected. 3 weeks later and we are back in business, as well as considerably wiser (we didn't have access to our internet banking facility, update the website, etc). So please excuse the lack of Xmas decorations as this newsletter was somewhat rushed. With the usual British humour we have a link which (perhaps a little cruel) did provide us with a smile during the days of restoring and re-installing links, etc - the link: IT Problem This has unfortunately meant that our programme for the shopping card (announced last month) has been delayed as we have to reconfigure all the settings, etc again.
This month we have two articles explaining the medical conditions that have resulted in a well known person of our acquaintance falling in the clutches of the NHS - a septic gallbladder and the resultant pancreatitis - hence this month the two articles cover these very painful maladies which we think you will find very informative as to their causes and symptoms (the article on the pancreas we gratefully recognise the Healthline site).
We finish off with an article explaining what you can experience when a diet is not suitable for you and the reasons why you feel so wretched (we are happy to report that none of our customers have reported any of these problems arising from our products -Ed).
Suggestions for articles, etc for inclusion in future issues are very welcome and will be considered seriously.
Our new venture (announced in September's issue) is going from strength to strength, especially as we're moving up towards Xmas. The website has been published but is incomplete but we feel it is worth a visit just to get a taste of things to come - this is linked with our eBay® ID (seller515680) so the website is called (can you guess?) www.seller515680.com. We had expected to report that our eBay® shop was open for business but with the technical 'glitch' this month we haven't progressed as we had expected - more news next month (glitches permitting!!)
Next - Child Obesity. Since we announced our joint promotion last month, we have been encouraged by the number of requests for our articles, etc; though we must report that most of the enquiries have come from our American readers. As we said last time, we have free literature as well as products to supply, so that together we will help deal with this modern problem.
The prediction we made is coming true - Xmas is arriving at the end of this year. In addition to our offers we showed in October's newsletter, we have an additional product that is very special and has proved very effective. So the year is inexerably drawing to a close in 3 weeks time - what news for 2007?
We had expected to announce progress on the shopping cart (see above) but this is delayed, not postponed. This will enable customers to order direct without the need for email or telephone contact. We cannot, however, offer this facility for the weight management products as these have to supplied after the completion of the survey and the followup consultation. Again, we will announce more news about this when we have it.
Lift Off
This product is an energy booster drink which, we have been told, has an added benefit in that it is supposed to improve the short term memory. We can't substantiate the last bit but what we can assure our customers is that, like the rest of our product range, this is a food-based energy drink.
